Medical Weight Management in Massachusetts and Florida

If the scale won't move despite everything you've tried, there's usually a reason. We find it — and we build a plan around what's actually happening in your body.

Why Youre Good for Weight Management

A woman with short hair, smiling with closed eyes, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, standing against a yellow background with her arms raised and hands behind her head.

Most weight loss advice treats weight as a simple equation — eat less, move more. But for most of our patients, it's never been that simple. Hormones, insulin resistance, metabolic dysfunction, genetics — these are real drivers that don't respond to willpower. We evaluate the full picture, not just the number on the scale.

Every patient at Youre Good gets a personalized treatment plan. We prescribe weight loss medications — including GLP-1s like semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) — when they're the right clinical fit, alongside compounded options through Strive Compound Pharmacy. Nutrition and exercise guidance is included at every visit. We stay with you throughout.

How It Works

You start with a 30-minute virtual consultation where we go through your history, your hormones, what you've already tried, and what your goals are. From there we build a treatment plan specific to you — medications if appropriate, nutrition guidance, and a follow-up schedule that keeps your care on track.

What to Expect

Your first visit is a real conversation, not a checklist. We'll ask questions and answer yours. You'll leave with a clear plan, a scheduled follow-up, and a point of contact for questions in between. Follow-ups are every 3 months for the first year, then every 4 months — and we auto-schedule them so nothing falls through the cracks.

When You’ll See Results

Results vary by person, which is exactly why we don't use a one-size approach. Many of our patients report meaningful weight loss after starting a personalized program — particularly those who had plateaued for years before getting to the root hormonal or metabolic cause. Any progress is worth celebrating, and we're with you for all of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Weight loss medications, follow-up schedules, what to expect from your first visit — these are the questions we hear most from patients considering weight management care at Youre Good.

  • Possibly — and your history of trying and not succeeding doesn't disqualify you, it actually helps us understand what we're working with. Weight loss medications like semaglutide (Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Zepbound) are clinically appropriate for many patients, particularly those with hormonal imbalances, insulin resistance, or a history of metabolic dysfunction. The first step is a consultation where we look at what's actually driving your weight before recommending anything.

  • The most common side effects of GLP-1 medications are gastrointestinal — nausea, constipation, and occasional stomach discomfort — and they're typically most noticeable when starting or increasing your dose. For most patients they improve significantly over time. We start at a low dose, increase gradually, and monitor how you're responding at every follow-up. If something isn't working for you, we adjust. You're never left to figure it out on your own.

  • It comes up often. We walk every patient through what injections actually involve before starting anything — the size of the needle, how to administer it, what it feels like. Most patients are surprised by how manageable it is. And if injections genuinely aren't right for you, we discuss all available options. Nothing gets prescribed without a full conversation first.

  • It's a fair question, and we'll be straight with you — research shows that weight often returns when GLP-1 medications are stopped, because the medication is actively managing hunger signals and metabolism. That's why our program includes nutrition and lifestyle guidance from the start, so you're building habits alongside the medication. Long-term, the goal is always to give you the tools that last — medication is one part of a bigger picture.

  • We always try to get your medications covered through your insurance first. Coverage varies significantly by plan — some cover GLP-1s fully, others partially, and some don't cover them at all. If your insurance doesn't cover your medication, we partner with Strive Compound Pharmacy to provide compounded options at more accessible pricing. We'll walk you through what to expect during your consultation.

  • The national platforms move fast — you fill out a form, get a prescription, and largely manage yourself. At Youre Good, you have a real provider who knows your name, your history, and your labs. Your follow-up visits are part of the program, your plan is adjusted as your body changes, and medication refills require keeping your appointments — because consistent care is how you get lasting results.
