Hormone Replacement Therapy in Massachusetts and Florida

Menopause. Perimenopause. PCOS. Hormonal weight gain. If your hormones feel like they're working against you, there's a plan — and it starts with actually understanding what's happening in your body.

Why Youre Good for Hormone Therapy

Hormone replacement therapy has a complicated history. For years, a flawed 2002 study scared patients and providers away from it — despite the fact that follow-up research repeatedly challenged those conclusions. In 2025, the FDA removed broad warning labels from HRT products, reflecting what the current evidence actually shows: for most people who start HRT within 10 years of menopause, the benefits are significant and the risks have been consistently overstated.

At Youre Good, we stay current on the research and we individualize every plan. Your initial visit includes a comprehensive lab workup, and your treatment is built entirely around your results — not a standard protocol. We offer both prescription and compounded hormone options, because the right approach looks different for every person.

How It Works

Your first visit is 60 minutes and includes a full lab workup. We go through your symptoms, your history, and what's been going on in your body. At the 6-week follow-up we review how you're responding and make adjustments. Ongoing visits are every 3 months — and because HRT needs to be calibrated over time, those follow-ups are where the real individualization happens.

What to Expect

An honest conversation about what your labs show, what your options are, and what the current research actually says. Many patients come in having been told by other providers that HRT is too risky — we'll walk you through the evidence and help you make an informed decision. You leave knowing your plan and why it's right for you specifically.

When You’ll See Results

Patients typically report improvements in hot flashes, sleep, mood, energy, and weight within weeks to months of starting an individualized hormone plan. Results vary depending on your starting point, your hormones, and how your body responds — which is exactly why we adjust your plan at every follow-up rather than leaving you on a static protocol.

We Don't Just Treat Hormones. We Study Them.

Our hormone therapy care is informed by advanced training through the Heather Hirsch Academy — the flagship menopause education program for practicing providers developed by Dr. Heather Hirsch, Harvard Medical School faculty and founder of the menopause clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital. This training is specifically designed to prepare providers to prescribe and manage HRT with expertise, precision, and up-to-date clinical confidence — because 75% of women who seek help for menopause symptoms go untreated, and we are determined not to be part of that statistic.

Frequently Asked Questions

HRT has more myths surrounding it than almost any other treatment in women's health. Here are honest answers to the questions our patients ask most — before and after they decide to start.

  • The fear around HRT largely stems from a 2002 study that was later found to have significant methodological problems — including studying women who were, on average, a decade past menopause and already at elevated cardiovascular risk. Current research tells a different story: for most people who start HRT within 10 years of menopause or before age 60, the benefits are substantial, including reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, bone fractures, and Alzheimer's disease. In 2025, the FDA removed broad warning labels from HRT products to reflect this updated understanding. We'll go through your specific medical history and risk profile with you during your consultation.

  • You don't have to. Hot flashes, sleep disruption, weight gain, mood changes, brain fog, and low energy during perimenopause and menopause are real symptoms with real treatments. Many providers don't have adequate training in menopause management — it's genuinely undertaught in medical education. We specialize in it. There's a difference between symptoms that are manageable and symptoms that are disrupting your daily life, and you deserve a provider who takes that distinction seriously.

  • Sometimes lifestyle adjustments make a meaningful difference. Sometimes the hormonal shift is significant enough that lifestyle alone won't get you there. We look at your labs, your symptoms, and your history together to figure out which situation you're in. If HRT is appropriate, we discuss it. If it's not, we tell you that too. The goal is always to give you the right answer for your body — not a default prescription.

  • Yes. We offer both conventional and compounded bioidentical hormone options. The right choice depends on your individual needs, your labs, and how you respond over time. We'll walk you through the differences during your consultation so you can make an informed decision.

  • Yes — and this is one of the trickier diagnostic challenges in hormone care. Perimenopause in particular is notoriously difficult to pin down because hormone levels fluctuate so unpredictably. A blood test on one day might look completely normal while the next day tells a different story. Your symptoms and your history are just as important as your labs. We look at all of it together.

  • Yes. We treat adults of all genders, including those who identify as transgender and gender non-binary. Your care plan is built around you and your specific hormonal needs — whoever you are.
