ABOUT

Kristen Pasters is a certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in diabetes education and treatment, weight management,  polycystic ovarian syndrome, and eating disorders.  Kristen promotes and is a member of The Health At Every Size®. HAES principles promote health equity, support ending weight discrimination, and improve access to quality healthcare regardless of size. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bowling Green State University and then earned her masters degree at Chamberlain University. She has 22 years of cardiology experience prior to diving into her current specialty 5 years ago. Kristen is a certified diabetic educator. She is also certified in treating binge eating disorder and is a certified shame -informed treatment specialist. Kristen's focus is promoting a healthy lifestyle, physically and mentally by teaching patients about maintaining a balance for optimal health. 

Kristen enjoys sports, traveling, spending time with her husband, two bonus sons, and her goldendoodle, Whiskey.
